Designed to monitor and detect vehicles travelling ahead of you, the Autonomous Emergency Braking system automatically applies the brakes if it determines a crash is imminent, helping to avoid a frontal collision or mitigate the effects of a collision if it cannot be avoided. Standard across the range.
Forward Collision Warning system activates and alerts when the vehicle detects objects immediately ahead that may cause a potential impact, encouraging the driver to decelerate.
The blind spot detection system actively monitors the driver’s blind spots for approaching vehicles and provides a visual alert on the outside mirrors, as well as an audible alert when necessary. Available on Platinum grade.
Confidently navigate tight spots with the available 360° Camera View system. Using four cameras, located at the front, rear, and sides, the Carnival projects a bird’s-eye view directly onto your screen. The result is a virtually 360° perspective for easier, more convenient maneuvering. Available on Platinum grade.
Know your surroundings better with a rear view camera showing obstacles behind you on the screen, as well as rear parking sensors giving an audible warning when detecting certain objects close to your vehicle.
Designed to detect the vehicle moving out of its lane without the turn indicator being used, the Lane Departure Warning system alerts the driver with a combination of audible and visual warnings.
Available Smart Cruise Control uses radar to maintain a predetermined distance from the vehicle directly ahead, automatically slowing or accelerating your Carnival when appropriate.
The available Rear Cross Traffic Alert detects and warns the driver of cross traffic while the Carnival is in reverse by activating audible and visual alerts, and comes in handy when backing out of tight places, like a parking space. Available on Platinum grade.
